Haleyville Fire 2012.

Haleyville Fire/Rescue responded to this single vehicle accident on Wednesday May 2nd around 3:30 p.m. The driver of the tractor-trailer was traveling south on Hwy 13 and swerved to avoid a car that was turning left into Cummings sub-division causing the truck to overturn. The driver was transported by ambulance to Lakeland Community Hospital for evaluation. Hwy 13 was shut down for approximately three hours while the road was cleaned and lumber loaded onto another vehicle. This was Truck 4's first call. Responding units and agencies include Truck 4, Tanker 5, Rescue 1, Haleyville Police, Alabama State Troopers, Haleyville Street Department, Regional Paramedical Services and Lyle Wrecker Service.

Haleyville Fire/Rescue responded to this structure fire on Alabama Avenue on Wednesday July 25th, 2012 just before 4:30 p.m. The fire started in the kitchen area with the house receiving heavy damage. One local firefighter was transported by RPS to Lakeland Community Hospital for a possible heat related illness. Responding apparatus and agencies included Pumper 2, Tanker 5, Rescue 1, Ladder 1, Haleyville Police Department, Regional Paramedical Services, Alabama Power and mutual aid from the following departments: Ashridge, Bear Creek, Brilliant, Delmar, Pebble and Hamilton Fire/Rescue who sent apparatus and personnel to cover our station.
